E.ON Ruhrgas BBL B.V. was set up in June 2004.

Its purpose is to hold a 20%-share in the BBL Company V.O.F., which builds, owns and operates the gas pipeline BBL. The gas pipeline BBL is 235 kilometers long and connects Balgzand in the Netherlands to Bacton in the UK.

The full list of participants in the BBL Company V.O.F. comprises:

  • Gasunie BBL B.V. 60%

  • E.ON Ruhrgas BBL B.V. 20%

  • Fluxys BBL B.V. 20%

E.ON Ruhrgas AG has a 100% participation in the E.ON Ruhrgas BBL B.V.
